As a child, I always loved being outdoors and admired the beauty found in nature.  There is so much richness in Mississippi that tells us stories about the past, from the bottomland hardwoods in the Delta to the longleaf pines along the pine belt.  It is an honor to be part of an organization like The Nature Conservancy that has one agenda - to protect and conserve the natural resources of our state.

We have a responsibility to be good stewards of the natural resources we enjoy in our state, and I am proud to work with The Nature Conservancy in Mississippi to preserve those natural treasures.  I want to thank TNC for helping ensure that my children and future generations will be able to enjoy those same resources and share my love of nature and the outdoors.
